Do you ever feel weary in well doing? What I mean is you know your intentions were good and your heart was in the right place and things “appear as they are not working in your favor. Galatians 6:9-10 ” And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Well doing are the sacrifices we make for others and put our emotions and opinions on the sidelines. We have been instructed to be a living sacrifice. So what does this mean and what does this look like? I’m sure we have all heard the term a cross to bare. So what do these crosses look like? These are the events , circumstances, situations that cause you to cry, and squirm on the inside, the events that make you want to run away and give up. The dark spaces that no one knows but you and God. So I came across a powerful word that I will share with you. Mark 12: 41-44 “And he sat down opposite the treasury, and watched the multitude putting money into the treasury. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came, and put in two copper coins, which made a penny. And he called his disciples to him, and said to them, ” Truly I say to you, this poor widow has put more than all those who are contributing to the treasury. For they all contributed out of their abundance; but she out of her poverty has put everything she had, her whole living.” I don’t think the verse is speaking solely about material things as much as it points to trusting God with all you have. It also points out that in spite of doing was is right; and, people not seeing it , it confirms that God sees and knows all that you do. So, if you feel disappointed, frustrated , confused settle in your spirit that God already knows. Although it may not feel good, rest in the fact the knows the pain your experiencing but don’t give in, and don’t give up Psalm 56:8 “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” So on the days you feel like its not worth it and your prayers aren’t being heard….it’s a lie. Don’t climb off your cross in due season you will reap a harvest…..so settle in your spirit the promises of God. The women with the coins not only sacrificed but trusted that God is able to do much more than we can imagine. May these words send you encouragement, and peace in your spirit. May you all be blessed and abundantly and be at peace as you wait for God to do miraculous things in your life…..I pray you have a crazy peace a you can’t even understand…….be blessed
